# Streambench > Browser-based workshop for testing IPTV, internet radio, HLS and local M3U/M3U8 playlists. Streambench runs at https://streambench.trfny.com/. Local playlist files, XMLTV data, edits, favorites and history stay in the browser. Public provider catalogs are fetched through the Streambench Cloudflare Worker. ## Main capabilities - Open local M3U and M3U8 playlists or paste their contents. - Play supported video and audio streams, including HLS where the browser or bundled hls.js can handle it. - Browse public IPTV and radio catalogs. - Display playlist logos, tags and available M3U metadata. - Import XMLTV data for now-and-next programme information. - Search, edit, hide, favorite and export playlist entries locally. - Inspect stream protocol, playback type and media diagnostics. ## Agent access On browser hosts that implement WebMCP, Streambench exposes `read_stream_state`, `search_streams`, `start_stream_playback` and `stop_stream_playback`. These tools operate only on the currently loaded playlist and existing player state; they do not expose a general fetch, signing or relay interface. ## Public pages - [Application](https://streambench.trfny.com/index.md): Markdown version of the Streambench application page. - [Full LLM guide](https://streambench.trfny.com/llms-full.txt): complete Streambench documentation in one file. - [Health](https://streambench.trfny.com/health): service health JSON. - [Provider manifest](https://streambench.trfny.com/api/providers): available public provider definitions. - [Source](https://github.com/travnie/twojstar/tree/main/benches/streambench): application source. ## Related TRAVNY tools - [TRAVNY hub](https://trfny.com/): family landing page. - [TVP IPTV](https://tvpi.travny.workers.dev/playlist.m3u): fresh TVP playlist endpoint. - [Codebench](https://codebench.trfny.com/): QR and code utility. - [Doc Bench](https://docbench.travny.workers.dev/): local-first document and PDF studio. - [Weather](https://weather.trfny.com/): local weather ensemble. - [Feeds](https://trvny.github.io/feedseek/): feed directory and generated RSS/Atom feeds.
